Best Monty Python skit
What I love most about this scene is that it represented anarchists fairly decently. Yes they're a bit silly but so is the whole film. However they didn't equate them with random chaos or Anomie.
However they accurately deconstruct the farce of the monarchy and why it makes no sense that it has power over them, which most everyone can understand. However if one were to replace the King with the State or Capitalists, suddenly the liberals would treat the anarchists as inane.

Well, yes, but the skit is also making fun of the anarchists. When Denis tries to explain their overcomplicated beureacracy, the point is that their commune is functionally broken and incapable of accomplishing anything as a community, which is why they live their lives digging in the mud.
Yes, but that is such a more realistic criticism of anarchist structure, than "lol chaos and bombs" that it's still refreshing to see.
Lol at the fact that anarchists are so often misunderstood that we're just happy to be criticized intelligently instead of mindlessly.
is this the line for chaos and bombs?
My name is Professor Chaos! Muahahahaha
No, this is Patrick.
Help, I'm being oppressed!!
Witness the violence inherent in the system!
