He is pretty much the last person on earth you would want to rely on, and there's basically no depths he won't sink to in order to get what he wants out of you. Just look at the way he treated other Republicans on January 6. Look at all the people he's cheated, attacked, or simply discarded when they were no longer useful.
If I were a Republican, even one on the far right, I would still rather try to work with Biden to reach some sort of compromise on the things where that would be possible than take my chances working with Trump.
