What comes to mind if someone uses the term "deeply unserious"?

Somebody whose job or context prevents them from saying what they really think (something along the lines of "that person is a fucking moron")

Finally, the right answer

Though to be fair I don't know if the age brackets of using that phrase quite line up with the one of this platforms userbase, so I think it tracks

Monty Python.
I can't believe people have semi serious responses to such an absurd turn of phrase. Spike Milligan would also be a reasonable response.

I don't know, maybe they responded during work.... or have met someone of that description...

That they're a condescending and unpleasant person.

Kind of similar in the unpleasant aspect but I'd say someone who doesn't know when to stop and take things seriously.

I think of someone describing weird movies like Evil Bong or Pink Flamingos. Not much out there can get less serious.

Some politician or political commentator spouting obvious lies, platitudes, and other garbage. News media ignoring real issues to focus on clicks.

The first time I saw this term used was on twitter, from a somewhat funny twitter troll.

That they have a limited vocabulary.

I recently called someone on here unserious for citing Aaron Mate of the Grayzone. So basically I think immediately of war crimes denying, authoritarian blowing tankies.
