Not the face itself, but the design looks like the work of Joel Veitch. He ran a website called rathergood.com back in the early 2000s where he did animations like this. He did fake music videosand even got a commercial deal with Quiznos.

Dammit.....stop making me old!!! I remember the videos on new grounds.

I remember me and my girlfriend were obsessed with the original videos. Then we were smoking weed, watching adult swim, back when it was worth watching. And the quiznos commercial came on. We were convinced that it was some adult swim thing.

Then there was a show we hated named Squidbillies, so we watched something on comedy central, and saw the commercial there too.

WE LOST OUR DAMN MINDS IN THAT MOMENT!!! Its when we realized it was a REAL commercial, and not some silly adult swim thing fucking around.

FACT CHECK: Actually, Squidbillies is good, Aquateen Hunger Force is the bad show.

Real talk though, I appreciate that it's popular, and I may simply have not watched enough of it, but the dozen or so random episodes I've seen just never really bit me.
