I wonder what "Irish American Zionist" Joe Biden thinks of this?

Oh no. Who could have predicted this, other than literally everybody.

Israel is out of control (and has been for a long while) and must be stopped.

Israel doesn’t have much love for the Irish given they are pretty sympathetic and outspoken about the Palestinian plight for obvious reasons. What a fucking mess

The colonizing people of the world see themselves in Israel.

The colonized people of the world see themselves in Palestine.

I dont know who said it first, but it rings true every day.

It's so obvious yet hard to notice. Great observation to whoever said that.

Actually it goes back farther.

The IRA was trained, in part, by the PLO.

The early anti-guerilla operations by the British in Palestine, before Israel was a state but when Palestine was fighting Zionists (literally what they called themselves, with a stated goal of just taking over Palestine and getting rid of the native population which includes Palestinian Jews), were just "well the Crown says we can't do this in Ireland but they're not looking here in Palestine."

This includes literally tying Palestinian captives to grilles or loading them onto forward-mounted trailers in a convoy to act as human shields. This includes retributive strikes against guerilla's families and friends.

Ireland has a HELL of a good reason to be close to Palestine, because it literally actually happened to them.

Mr Martin, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence, told the Dáil that “Israel is not listening to its allies in terms of progressing its agenda” and “seems to be [at] all out war”. He said the IDF’s actions were “unacceptable” with “destructive warfare” leading to community, health and education services being “destroyed”. He said Israel’s actions were “a clear breach of international humanitarian law”.

isreal fucking around a WHOLE LOT these days, pretty soon they're gonna find out.

Not as long as papa US keeps protecting these douchebags

I think you are mistaking which one in this relationship calls the other "daddy."

And no matter which candidate you get, they'll stay the same.

So what does that mean and what does the American do about it? Because we are fractured lazy and overworked and many of us are got by fake news because an abusive system abused us and then neglected us now we're all shitheads

Buy a gun, join a lefty militia, train up, then protest with your guns in large groups. If that method can convince Republicans to vote in favor of gun control to stop black people from having agency, it can work with anything you want to be changed as well.

People always respond to threats of violence, with fear or with retaliation.

If you raise any force of violence enough then government will come down on you regardless of who you are from Waco to MOVE. A government just has a monopoly on violence and the US has the monopoly of violence in the world

I'm not saying give up but the idea of the armed overthrow is not the best idea. Especially at this stage in the issue

That’s fucked up, but I’m glad it’s stiffening the peacekeepers’ resolve. The IDF isn’t gonna stop shooting at UN personnel, and a lot of company size units of jumpy conscripts are gonna have some bad days before this is over. From un.org:

Spain, France, and Italy would piss off the EU. Korea and Poland are going to be a uhhh ... learning opportunity for the IDF.

Szymon the automatic rifleman has a right to defend himself

Every soldier has the right to defend themselves and others. Anyways that's when my artillery support started hitting that one guy behind the rock.

Germany keeps on sucking Netanyahu's dick and will always block any concerted action at the EU level.

I'm not familiar with how the EU actually works, does each country get a veto for things like sanctions? Because Germany might just get outvoted if Israel keeps going down this line.

In some things there is veto power and in some a majority vote (by states and by population) suffices.

Whilst I do not know for certain in which category Sanctions fall, I would expect that given the implications at a geostrategical and trade level of them there's a veto power there. Also I vaguelly remember Hungary blocking sanctions against Russia coordinates at the EU level and countries having to go around it and organising their own sanctions, which would mean it's a vote were there is a veto.

Even beyond that, German is certain to lobby and even bully (were it can) other EU countries so that they don't sanction Israel.

Ah yeah, I remember the Hungary thing too so also, it'll be a veto.

Most big EU decisions must be agreed to by all members. If even one country disagrees, nothing happens, which is why they're so pissed about Hungary blocking everything.

The European Parliament is more democratic, but I think they can just do legislation, not compel the use of force or anything like that.

The IDF is filled with religious fanatical nutters and they knows exactly where the Irish command have positioned their troops. Someone decided to take revenge because the Irish are against the entire shit show in Gaza and West Bank.

This is highly likely. They also shot at and injured Indonesian peacekeepers since Indonesia is also one of other country that is vocal against Israel.
