McGovern: “And all I can say is the American people deserve better. And they certainly deserve better than the Speaker spending his time trying to influence our justice system at a courthouse in New York City. How pathetic.”

So they're too offensive to talk about but not too offensive to rally behind for president? 🙄

It’s not a “sex scandal” case. It’s a campaign finance fraud case. The media has tried to make this an attack on Trump for amorally fucking a prostitute… well, a pornstar that was bait-and-switched into fucking him, according to her testimony.

It’s because he broke financial law by taking donated funds, from his support base, intended for use on his election campaign and used them for personal expenses.

You can make your own judgement on his lack of morals, but this was a criminal act. He stole from his donors and should be held accountable.

To be clear, despite the slightly misleading title, the representative himself said it correctly. He said that Trump allegedly committed the crime "in order to avoid a sex scandal"

I think it's the other way around. Business funds being spent for campaign purposes (burying a bad story) and not reported as such. One of the defenses they tried to pull was that he didn't care about the campaign impacts and only wanted to prevent Melania from knowing.

Not sure why you were downvoted. This is correct

Hah, yeah, that's really silly voting behavior. This is just facts and not even presented in a "ur wrong dumbass" format.

I wonder how many times we can find Republicans referencing Hunter Biden? Or any number of things they claim beyond simply stating a fact like “Trump is currently charged with…[insert charge but not claim of guilt]”.

Didn't EmptyG bring a poster-sized print out of Hunter's junk onto the floor for some stupid "gotcha"? I don't recall Republicans getting upset over that.

Democrats are for some reason beheld to follow the letter of the law- while conservatives wipe each others’s asses with the construction-

As usual.
