No, 3 million electric toothbrushes were not used in a DDoS attack::A widely reported story that 3 million electric toothbrushes were hacked with malware to conduct distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks is likely a hypothetical scenario instead of an actual attack.

Who the hell that put IOT service in toothbrush ?
I can't believe someone out there already put IOT services in home appliances even if that's not necessary to put in first place, what's next ?? IOT Condoms ? IOT Fleshlight ? GOD DAMNIT HUMAN.....

Listen an IoT Fleshlight has a lot of possibilities

Very advanced this thing, quote from website:

Open API For developers, our open API allows for extra customization and control over your pleasure adventure. Create custom applications and share them with the rest of the Handy community on HandyFeeling.com – the possibilities are endless!

My toothbrush is Bluetooth connected. It's used to configure the brush modes and track brushing habits. I didn't buy it for this and uninstalled the app after a week. Thankfully it's not Wi-Fi connected.

If its the same one my neighbour has, your neighbours can also track your brushing habits. My homeassistant instance automatically picked up my neighbours oral-b toothbrush :o

@SeeJayEmm

But you still had to pay for the tech installed in the toothbrush.

Try finding a good brush that doesn't have this tech installed :/

#toothbrush #bluetooth

Which is already paid for. I'll certainly keep that in mind when it's time to replace it.

They have IoT fleshlights and dildos. They are marketed towards remote couples and remote sex workers though (audience interaction I think)
