People still watch movies?

I'm wondering if they'll turn an alternative universe Tony Stark into Doom. Are there any comics where this happens?

As far as feelings: very excited. I was bummed when Robert Downey Jr. exited the MCU and it will be nice to have him back. I hope it's more than a cameo.

Interestingly, there's one arc where Doctor Doom becomes Iron Man and joins The Avengers.

That would be an interesting twist. Alt Tony Stark is Dr. Doom so the real Dr. Doom joins the Avengers to save the universe. Although Doom's motivation would likely be to prove he's the superior Doom. Seems like that would make a decent Secret Wars plotline.

It must be really. "Its nega-ironman with an iron face!"

Only reason they'd reuse an actor

Looks like he is slated for the next two avengers movies instead of Kang. I have mixed feelings, but no telling until we get to see it. I'm hopeful that it will turn out well

I think it'd be cool if new/not famous actors were given big roles like this. It's a joke that RDJ got this role and Hollywood has the same issue as Washington-- bunch of old people who can't wrap their heads around going with new talent instead of the same tired old actors.

When a movie markets itself around the fame of the main actor(s), I can't help but think it's gonna be more hype the substance. But when a movie has some very lesser known characters but knocks it outta the park, I like that a lot more. Prey is a good example of this.

MCU movies and all that stuff are just a cheap ass cash grab and decisions are made based on profit viability more than anything. Just so painfully formulaic.

RDJ should've worn a mask and James Earl Jones should've done the voiceacting.

I might actually watch that. Last time I watched superhero movies they were on Fantastic Four and spiderman was still Tobey.

"have you seen Mindless Action 7: Ultimate CG 3: The Reckoning yet?"

no, I don't keep up with Marvel movies, they just don't appeal to me.

"well it's insert 30 minute lore dump and it ties into the ending of Space Hero Movie 3 because insert 20 minute side rant about Space Mask Guy's entire history while also being an indirect sequel to Weird Magic Dude 6 because of when Weird Magic Dude altered the timeline by extended synopsis of Weird Magic Dude 2, 5, and 6 which ties into the Unremarkables Netflix series, that's why indicipherable gibberish, and then The Bulk eats a car with Alien Skin Chin inside and Shrinky Dinky has to get him back out again! It's amazing, you gotta see it!"

idk man i watched Metal Noggin and Space Hero Movie and didn't really care for either of them, the genre just doesn't appeal to me. i'm glad you have a thing you like but it's not really my bag.

goes to internet "why are people so vocal about not liking marvel movies, as if we care?".

[Off topic]

I want Micheal B. Jordan as the Black Panther.

Well there's never been a bad movie related to the Fantastic 4 IP so I'm willing to bet it'll be good

All I’m gonna say is that I thought it was weird to cast Linda Cardellini as that animal in guardians 3 when she was already mrs hawkeye.

Captain America is the Human Torch. Wolverine is Mr Fantastic. Casting is apparently hard work.

As someone that is clueless about the comics, I usually have to look up the connections between characters. I end up on wikipedia reading some stuff, clicking through to other articles about the comics and the next thing I know, I’m reading about the Moroccan invasion of the Songhai Empire in the late 16th century.

Might be cool but definitely looks desperate. Hope they spend more money in cgi though.
