Hey, come on, who HASN'T owned a machine gun at this point.

Most of us have.

I feel like you missed the point of that opinion. A shoestring by itself is not a machine gun. Wearing a shoestring while shooting a semi automatic rifle is not a machine gun.

Purposely to make a joke. Intent is the important factor in most gun laws.

Oh thank god. I recall constantly being downvoted on reddit for pointing that out.

Not that it changes anything but, I kind of want to know what gun it is, out of personal interest. Cold war era? There's so many one offs and weird stuff we tried. Is this a click bait way of saying she has an MP5 or MAC 10? I tried googling it and came up empty handed.

Rolling Stone says it's a MAC-10, but that's the only reference I could find.

Johnson is not a middle-of-the-road politician. She owns a MAC-10 submachine gun — and received an A-rating from the NRA. On the campaign trail, she comes across like a pro-choice Ron DeSantis, vowing to give a voice to “really pissed off” Oregonians who are “terrified of the progressive left,” while blasting “wokeness” as “another form of intolerance.”

I was honestly shocked there isn't video of her blasting away at something as so many others seem to do any more.

I was also wondering if it was a Johnson Machine Gun and she was related to the inventor or that it was at least something historical.

Now for the personal interest bit - I would pay real dollars in a pay per view for the comedy that would be her trying to recoil control a mac-10 at like a range or something.

I dunno, her dad is ex military and she's a helicopter pilot who did competitive helicopter games with the Soviets in the 70s from what I could find. I think she can use it.

What is the relevance beyond this dude being way into guns? I mean I think attempted assassination told us that already.

Doesn't everyone in the u.s?

I don't at the moment. I accidentally left it in the handicapped stall of a Walmart restroom a few weeks ago.

You take off the gun and put it on top of the toilet tank while you take a shit and forget, it happens
