weed is legal in Ohio now, but there will be a fight
On November 7th Ohio voters passed a measure to legalize weed for adults, but in a show of stupifity and government over reach at least one fucker says the Ohio senate will overrule the will of the people if possible. Asshats.

Utah did something similar...... it's just dumb how much unchecked power we've allowed governments.
With modern internet infrastructure, we could govern by direct democracy if we wanted to. What’s the point of elected officials if you can just have your own vote count on every issue?
If you’re looking for an actual answer: they don’t want to give up the power they have. They think they know better, when in the vast majority of situations, they have no fucking clue what they’re doing. Just like the rest of us.
Direct democracy for everything isn't a solution either. There're many complex problems where a short summary isn't enough to make an educated decision (just like voting).
Additionally, people often enough only read the headline and come to their conclusion. This would open up the door to even more populism, where the deliberately misinformed majority decides for all.
Not that I'm against more direct democracy, especially for laws where all people are directly and heavily affected (e.g. abortion).
Disclaimer: I'm not an US citizen, so voting is probably more fustrating for you with only two parties. It's already difficult enough to vote for a party with more options.
Aint that the damn truth. If i want to alter my view and i aint hurtin nobody then fuck off.
Republicans will always fight against the voters.
Clearly. I fall into the Libertarian camp personally. I am not hurting anybody so fuck right off.
Lol libertarians are just confused Republicans with poor logic skills.
When part of your official platform is privatize water bodies and was mostly written by the Koch brothers you know you're the bad guy.
Meanwhile, I'm just sitting here in PA waiting and watching what all my neighbors are doing. Except West Virginia, of course, because it would cut into their meth industry.
It doesn't go into effect for 30 days, so it's not actually legal now.
Ah, thanks for that info. Follow the law people, or dont get caught.
Maybe I'm just paranoid

Sorry you live in such an unfriendly state. Hopefully it works out for you
Oh, i dont live their
Oh my bad I just assumed 😂
Just order online. It's legal in almost all states.
What?
They're probably referring to THC-A hemp flower. The farm bill a couple years basically opened up the flood gates for hemp-derived THC.
Yes. Thca flower (same weed you would buy at a dispensary) is legal in most states. I think there are about 5 who have outlawed it. Try eight horses hemp or flow gardens websites. Shows up in your mailbox.
Yep, i have a delta-8vape that will get me high (most likelt vc i am new to it).
I don't mess with delta 8 because I'm afraid of the chemicals they use to create it from cbd - h2so4 and stuff. Check out the thca vapes at secret nature. They're $50 but if you sign up for their emails they'll send you coupons that make them $35, especially if you put them in your cart and walk away for a day.
