Don't even think about it

They're all in places you can be seen or recorded. Good luck!

If only we lived in a time where covering your face was commonplace

It only makes you look suspicious when opening a vending machine. A vending machine company uniform would be better than covering your face.

High vis vest and clipboard is all you need. That probably costs more than just buying the snacks though.

It's an investment. You'll get the value back as long as you steal enough snacks.

It’s not to not look suspicious, it’s just to cover your face so they can’t id you as easily.

It just looks less suspicious nowadays instead of drawing immediate attention

It's only suspicious if you take one or two snacks.

You need to completely empty the machine in a cart, bonus points if you empty several vending machines in a row.

Wear a high visibility vest and carry a clipboard and you can go anywhere

When I worked IT, I went to a local fire station and said I was there to update their computers. The person I talked to didn't seem to know that this was scheduled, but they led me to their office with the computers and showed me how to log on. I'm pretty sure they just assumed I was telling the truth because I spoke confidently and was wearing a polo, but I could have literally been anyone.

Great, you for a recording of a guy stealing from your machine. Good luck getting the police to give a damn

What's great about this meme format is the opposite of what their followers would do. Satanists would share their key to feed the homeless while Christians would call the police..or just shoot them for looting. Cuz that's what Jesus would do.

Eh not all are the same. Sure there are some common locks and keys but most big vendors will install their own locks and keys.

Cyndrical locks are pretty easy to pick, though. There's a $20 tool where you stick it in and wiggle it and done (this sentence is dirty and I'm not apologizing). Newer stuff uses different springs on each pin so they don't all pop at once, but then you just wiggle it for one pin, turn it a bit, then hit the next one. Takes longer, but it's not hard to learn.
