It's definitely natural and normal that the top five posts on /r/pcgaming are all about Blizzard.

What a fucking crock.

This is a complete reach, comon now.

Blizzard bringing games to steam is news. Lots of people care that games are on steam. No surprises here.

One is about the merger which is current news.

One is about declining overwatch 2 players.

And then one about overwatch 2.

Yea some β€œconspiracy”.

Straight rage bait.

I installed Overwatch 2, played it for 30 mins and uninstalled it. It's a shame. Overwatch 1 was awesome.

This doesn't feel like astroturfing to me, one is purely negative, one is about a merger and I would consider neutral, and the other 3 are about a massive game coming to the biggest platform, something PC gamers have been begging for forever

I read the title and was like "talking shit about them surely". Can't believe only one is really negative. It's the ugly rotting corpse of blizzard with a big ol Activision arm elbow deep up the ass waving it around. Anyone who isn't into that at this point isn't paying attention or is too young to remember what they used to be. Wow went down the shitter long ago and all their other IP has been in worse shape for longer. People really need to stop buying their shit.

Diablo 4 was looking great for a bit. Of course they aren't fixing some known bugs (resistance) in all the recent patches. The grind was looking OK but they just nerfed the hell out of XP, which probably doubles it's time and makes their "open world" completely useless. Don't worry though, they did approximately double the drop rate of trash as well. Yay!

Blizzard is getting really good at shooting themselves in the foot.

Eh, I remembered the disastrous launch of D3 saw the pricing, the micro transaction pushing and had no interest in giving them money.

That claim would have been true two years ago but WoW is actually great now. Dragonflight is arguably one of the best expansions they've ever released. Ask trade chat and DF will be in most people's top 3. They got rid of most (all?) of the predatory timesink crap. Rep grinds are for cosmetics ONLY, the new gearing system is casual friendly, and they've lifted a ton of obnoxious barriers with old content. Plus, they are rolling cross-faction everything. It's a good time to be a WoW player.

I was an OW fanatic so it's been weird to see my favorite game go down the drain while the game I quit makes an incredibly turnaround. They went in polar opposite directions with the two

Diablo 4 apparently is doing well and rather well reviewed too. Seems like their best title since StarCraft 2

It was great until they started "balancing" it.

Leave it to gamers to freak out over the first balancing patch. It was largely great, they just need to tweak still.

Blizzard is in the news right now because of several large business decisions they've made recently. It's not even just Reddit, they're in the actual news right now. I'm not sure what issue you take with that.

I sense the sarcasm in the title yet I find it to be accurate considering Diablo 4 is still new, OW2 has some controversy yet again, and Blizzard is part of Activision which is in the news a lot recently because of the Microsoft acquisition. Of course these things are going to be on the top of the front page; it's current, popular shit.

When you guys want to talk about how lemmy is better than reddit, remember this post. This is the content people here upvotes. It's just as bad and inane as reddit because people don't change!
