In Poland firefighters were called to a house fire. There were no people inside the house but there was a terrified bunny that the firefighters rescued from the flames.

According to the article the top floor of the house and the roof had burned down completely. The firefighters had to bust in the door and use oxygen masks to get inside. The bunny was found inside an enclosure in one of the rooms. It was panicked and difficult to catch but they succeeded in rescuing the cute little furball. The owners are very happy about the rescue.

fire fighter subscription is the most usa shit ever

Actually it was invented by Crassus, Rome’s richest man, who was one of the triumvirate with caesar and pompey.

We should allow people who pull similar shit to die the same way as Crassus lol

Don't tease me.

For anyone who doesn't know, Viserys' death at the hand of Khal Drogo was inspired by Crassus' alleged method of execution.

And to save other people who don't get that reference from googling it, he had molten gold poured down his throat.

In reality, the person lived outside of the city, and the county doesn’t have its own firefighters. The 75 a month is a little more than what the regular residents paid in taxes to the firefighters. Stupid is as stupid does.

I’d call that a failed state of the haven’t even got government firefighters. What other basic necessities don’t they have? Are streets also subscription based?

Id call that rural America, yall don’t realize how large some of these places are.

Since when should country size play a role in government support? There are planes ffs. If your military can operate in the middle of a desert with no utilities, you should be able to support a stable civilian management in rural places.

The guy specifically opted out of it. He could have paid the tax but didn’t, and he paid the price for it.

If you can opt out of it, it’s not a tax. It’s an insurance. Taxes pay for everyone.

Toll roads can be subscription based yes

Toll roads are for profit. Roads shouldn't be for profit.

One resident told him that, in her opinion, "I think morally the right thing would have been to put the fire out."

They think?!

Oh yeahhhh.

We've brought back Crassus' fire department from late republic rome

Dude would camp outside fires say sell it to me for nothing if they refused it burned it they sold he's their new landlord and yay your house is saved.

Wasn't there something with the word arsonist deriving from him?

Guess we'd be seeing how well they can fight a fire in the station, or their vehicles.

I think I'd be getting arrested if I saw "firefighters" (in this instance a bunch of fatasses LARPING as firefighters) standing around my house ignoring it because apparently there's no real station nearby. Because if nobody moved the truck to help and I had something large and heavy available, I'm swinging. Or flooring my truck into the side they're standing on.

Yes, I would absolutely be unhinged in that scenario and I don't feel bad for any bad thing that happens to people who have the ability to help, but do nothing. I don't give half a shit what their reason for not helping was/is/ever will be. You could have helped. You did nothing.
