A Republican State A.G. Fights to Keep Exonerated Prisoners Behind Bars
nytimes.com
Once a court decides that you're not guilty, the answer should be "you're free to go" and for those who have been incarcerated for a significant amount of time, "here's how we're going to support your re-entry into society." Keeping the imprisoned is completely antithetical to any reasonable sense of justice.
The cruelty is the point
It’s fucking weird
Innocent people should be kept in jail of couse weirdo.
Weird losers
So republicans want innocent people locked up and guilty people in the White House. How is this a serious political party?
Of course it's Missouri
Honestly surprised Mississippi didn’t swoop in with a plan to start The Purge
I was going to guess Louisiana.
I'd take offense at that, but I've seen our candidates for Governor.
It’s political imprisonment, and it’s fucking disgusting.
He needs to be imprisoned. Seems fair enough.
He should be disbarred at the least.
Disbarred, dismembered, any of the disses are probably being just fine
Eh, he's already disimpassioned. We need to pick more radical disses.
He'll most likely lose his job tomorrow.
Republicans, ladies and gentlemen. Unencumbered by morals, empathy, or virtues of any sort.
This guy should be thrown in jail for one (1) year for every one (1) hour these innocent people are held.
