Woke up today to find out my demo has 100% Positive rating (from 10/10 reviews)

I know it's just 10 people but it's been a rough few months and I think it's a good idea to celebrate the small victories. : )

Edit: Link for the lazy on Steam

Iā€™m a gamefluencer with over 3 followers. Can I get 50 free copies?

I could go give it a negative review if that would help you feel more grounded.

Just kidding, congratulations :)

For those who wonder, @Road_Warrior_10@lemmy.world has my autorisation to promote his game, as long as he do not break the rules.

No need to report this post :

  • Rules 3 is not breached as long as OP do not spam the community. Promotion is allowed on this sub, as long as it does not become "excessive".

  • Rule 4 is not breached as it is no meme content (anymore šŸ˜‰ ), and it doesn't fall under the "low effort" rule due to all the effort necessary to make such a game

In any case, congrats.

My GOAT. I will send you a free copy when the game is out if you want to give to a friend or something. You and this community have been so nice to me : )

Congratulations! I'm hoping I will get to try it soon. I get internet in a week, but I have to find a graphics card or monitor with display port. My HDMI port got fucked on my current GPU

On a quick search I'm seeing displayport to HDMI adapters as cheap as $6 on Amazon and $2 on eBay.

I can't believe I didn't think of that. I'm walking to the cash register with one now. Thank you for your help!

Edit: worked like a charm! Thank you so much for all of your help everybody! I'll have to remember to download the demo as soon as I get internet

I don't know how to do it, but I know it's possible to get your motherboard's HDMI port, if it has one, to display the output from the GPU. Might help you hold out if you're not otherwise looking to upgrade.

This is very interesting! Time to see what I can find. Thanks so much for the tip!

Edit: I'm not having any luck finding anything on that. I'm gonna see if it would be possible to desolder it from the mobo and solder it onto the gpu

Sorry to hear that. I had issues with my main laptop for a few months. In the end I just gave up and bought a desktop PC.

I'm hoping I can find an old graphics card in storage, or a buddy with one. I don't have any money for replacing anything at the moment. Gonna look into the tip from the user below about the port on the mobo

What happens if I press the button? Or would that be a spoiler?

Congratulations. I'm gonna take a look later on my Deck.

I played the demo on my deck months ago and don't remember having any issues. Enjoy!

Thank you, but how do the controls work? Because I haven't set up anything on the developer end. The Default controls are for PC (I never owned a deck or seen one live)

The deck has both a touchscreen and a trackpad for mouse input. Or you can just connect a mouse lol.

What engine do you use? Some automatically convert kb+m to controllers so developers need to do a lot less

How can you post a screenshot but not linking to the game? Anyway, congratulations!

Edit: Nevermind, found it, was already on my wishlist!

You are right tho, I added the link just in case someone else is curious too :)

Every little bit counts. And finding ten people (especially out of ten) who agree on anything is pretty impressive. Congratulations. I hope this does well for you.

hey this has been in my wishlist! i remember finding it from an older post of yours a few months back, can't wait to try out the demo later today :3

Wishlisted it. This game and pvkk are now the only games I'm actually looking forward to

Congratulations!

I'll install it tomorrow and leave a good review to give you a boost.

Keep it up !

I remember doing a playtest a few months back! I'm really looking forward to when the full game releases. c:

šŸ‘ review. Nice job. Comments: Would love to see controller support. Figuring out B was E was fairly straight forward, but looking around was way too sensitive on Steam Deck.

I'm gonna go click that button you worked so hard on. You should be very proud!

it's okay to be inspired ā¤ļø
