r/art also held a poll. It's over now and John Oliver won.
This is the right kind of protest to avoid getting nuked. Make subreddits active but useless. It's not against the rules or r/PotatoSalad and r/Trees would be banned.
If both /r/trees and /r/marijuanaenthusiasts protest though it sort of defeats the purpose.
Once the writer's strike is over there is sure to be a segment.
FYI- There is a writer's union strike in the US which has affected many weekly shows.
