DO NOT start mixing the two! Do you have any idea what you're doing‽

Whatever music you like sober + weed = best stoner music

I like chill beats so I'll listen to any of the following:
The Polish Ambassador
Wax Tailor
Koop
Thievery Corporation
Nightmares on Wax

And so on. It's mostly all chill down tempo beats

Saudade by thievery corporation is so good.

I tend to go for weird when stoned, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, The Dandy Warhols, All Them Witches are some of the shit I get into.

I can't link a playlist, because I just let shit play on YouTube Music, but I usually have something going. Lately it's been pretty heavily Gogol Bordello, The Orion Experience, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, and some Rush thrown in.

If I'm getting toasted, usually some Steppenwolf works its way in later down the line. I can't explain why, it's just like I hit a certain point and my brain goes "Hey, you remember Steppenwolf? Of course you do. Magic Carpet Ride, motherfucker", and there I go, slipping down the rabbit hole.

If you have the speaker setup, try to "find" anything mixed in surround sound. It's something else.

Uh I don't do anything without music. My current playlist is 3 days long before it repeats and my goal in life is to organize it so it sounds right without having to shuffle.

Do you want just my smoke session playlist or other playlists? I listen to an eclectic mix of music and have a bit of a playlist-making fixation

ok so you know how Dark Side of the Moon is a stereotypical choice?

Go listen to Coletta's "Idealism". Preferably, the same way you'd listen to DSOTM -- in a dark, quiet room, with good headphones, start-to-finish and left on repeat; while inebriated by weed, shrooms, or both.

They're not the same genre, but imo, Idealism is one of the best love letters to DSOTM I've ever heard. You'll see what I mean. It's also just a straight-up great album, blending psychedelic pop with (light) rap, and a very positive message.
