In Germany, there usually are give way signs at the entry points indicating that the vehicles driving in the roundabout have priority. A stop sign is a bit too much, as it's not an especially confusing situation.
Every roundabout is a straightabout if you go fast enough.
The goal is always to try to take it as straight as possible without losing speed
I once saw someone stop and reverse on a roundabout because they missed their exit.
