Wtaf is going on in the US lately.

Looking at breaking up Google

Going after Visa for monopolizing debit markets

TD slapped with a penalty worth more than the crime (for the first time ever?)

Going after market manipulators

I've never seen the law applied to the wealthy in a way that might actually influence future behaviour (and not for the worst??!)

There were rumors that the wealthy wanted Biden out back when people started calling for him to quit. It seems like it probably all traces back to Lina Khan being head of the FTC.

I'd say that I hope nothing changes, but I honestly hope it escalates significantly. I'm so exhausted about hearing how companies are fucking us over every day.

I'm binging White Collar at the moment, so I expected to read about some smooth-talking cryptobro and a weird little guy with glasses that happened to be there.

Man, I loved that show! Might even rewatch it. Caffrey, Mozzie and Burke are amazing.

Even had a decent ending. Bizarro Jerry was excellent too.

We just finished binging it. Aside from Neil and Mozzie together being Masters of Everything, it really held up well imho.

Looking forward to the reunion season.

Is there actually a plan for a reunion season? Or just that everything inevitably gets one?

“Fake cryptocurrency”

Phone call from the Department of Redundancy Department on line one…

Trust me, not all cryptocurrency is fake. A lot of it is, I will give you that, but there are some legitimately amazing projects in the space. Monero is striving to be completely anonymous digital cash and so far it's doing a good job of it.

You can tell Monero is good because the feds are getting it delisted everywhere they can

And do you notice the Monero community? They celebrate when it is taken off of an exchange and they celebrate when people buy and sell physical items with it.

Monero is the only cryptocurrency that i deal with and that's only because of it's privacy considerations.
