Yeah yeah, more Biden more military spending. Just what the left leaning voters want.

This would be campaign spending, not military spending. Even if it was, the budget is decided by congress, not the president.

Some these Russian trolls are so terrible.

Biden is telling us hes going to, like he did this term, push for more military spending, he's all about military and wants more of it. And the president has a huge impact on the defense budget, being the one to request the amount, especially as a democrat president that will get democrat reps voting in favor of his higher requested budgets.

As opposed to Trump, who famously balanced the budget.

being similar to Trump is not gonna win any approval from me.

Trump did make a whole new branch of the military to funnel government money into. But yeah, you’re right, they’re the same…

Yet fools like you just blabber on and offer no real solutions. BoTh SiDeS every time.

I offer the same solution you do. Vote for my preferred candidate.

Nothing is going to win approval from you. You have already made your decision.

Im out here bringing up policy specifics and metrics and substantiating why i dont approve. You come in with nothing but a broad dismissal.

Am I wrong? If Biden cured ass cancer tomorrow and made the cure free for all Americans, would you realistically change your mind?

Which generates good paying jobs for Americans, gives Ukraine our old weapons that are still very effective against Orks while simultaneously re-arming our own military with new weapon systems based off what the war in Ukraine is showing us.

If the Republicans haven't sided with Russia and held up weapons for so long, that war would have been over by now.

Good paying jobs is such a bullshit answer. Its what the coal industry keeps saying. Make different jobs that dont involve bombing brown people in other countries

Putin isn't brown.

Damn i missed Putin getting bombed by US military?

Work on those reading comprehension skills. This discussion is in the context of the US supplying weapons to Ukraine, so that they can (hopefully) bomb Putin.

I tell you what, im on board with bombing Putin and empowering Ukraine's military. We can give them enough funds and enough weapons to surpass all of Russia, id rather Zelenksy have them than us. And we can drastically cut our own defense spending, and still have a larger budget than Russia and our newly funded Ukraine combined.

Trump wants to cut sending money to Ukraine, so I'm confused what the fuck you have been saying all over this shit website.

You sure are confused, ive been calling out Trumps bullshit since Obamas first presidential campaign.

You obviously didn’t read the article.

On Friday, the Biden team leaned in to drawing a contrast between the two candidates, sharing a news clip of CNN’s Wolf Blitzer characterizing a “split screen” between Biden and Trump. Pointing to the former president saying that revenge “sometimes can be justified,” Blitzer remarked: “Trump is talking about revenge while President Biden is honoring the Greatest Generation during the 80th anniversary of Normandy.”

All the stuff with Biden praising the military and pointing out Trumps dismissal of current military. Bidens very pro military and increases defense spending

He was praising the WWII veterans for fighting the Nazis. Read the article again.

I think you need to if you think he was exclusively talking about WWII veterans

That’s true. It also mentioned Trump refusing to visit the WWI casualties buried in the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial in France.

My point is there’s no mention of increased military spending in this article.

Its just gonna be shocked pikachu faces all around when he increases spending again.

You seem confused. Nobody is discussing increased spending in our defense budget except for you and nobody has attempted to refute your remark.

I just see the connection between campaigning on supporting the military, and later increasing the defense budget.

That may be, by then. But, we are at Now, now.

Continuing to toss up "what if's /what about when's", that no one seems to want to engage in as part of this discussion, is making you look like a shill.

boy quite a few people have come in to engage. This is just...bonkers now, of course what politicians are planning for the future matters today. Like, Trump's not president now, so why worry about what he might do later?

Move the post. Shift the goal. Never stay on topic.

That is not what THIS particular thread/ conversation is about or trying to discuss. Go start your own post to discuss some "ever moving goal posts on a topic" shit.

What if the galaxy freezes overnight? What if we all go blind after our next blink? What if the Imaginary Pink Unicorn WAS real and decided to turn everyone inside out and sparkly? What if an alien invasion happens? What if they finally released Community the movie?

What if... Bigfoot is real and comes out of hiding to destroy humanity because they are sick of our constant bickering over stupid ass shit, imaginary lines and sky people?? ...Or, just can't take it anymore that we ever liked Devo??

Do you do this in real life conversations? That is exhausting. If you do, please think about going to see someone professional to talk to about it. Those close to you will appreciate it.

Nah, ive brought up Biden is likely to increase defense spending and stayed pretty firmly there. Your list of comparisons all have one stark difference to what I am saying, they are all impossibly unlikely. I dont think you'll be surprised in the future when Biden, again, raises defense spending. Just like we wont be surprised when next year is more record temperatures. Theyre both still very relevant to the present which is causing those futures.
