There's only two real takeaways: winning without actual opposition is easy and that won't stop the msm from celebrating like it's the most competitive primary ever.
I think it’s slightly weirder than that. MSM has been running stories about how weak Biden is as a candidate all year. But when it comes time to vote, turns out it was all bullshit to get attention and clicks.
Now, to them, Biden lambasting the other “serious” candidates is a big story. The media has to pretend it is a surprise since they invented an idea that it might not happen this way.
Like some sort of reverse judo move on yourself.
He IS a really weak candidate, though, just not weak enough to lose to Marianne Williamson and some dude who 99.9% of the population wouldn't be able to pick out of a lineup.
If he doesn't stop unconditionally supporting Israel soon or find something extremely popular to do BEFORE November, there's a huge risk that he'll lose to Trump and it'll be HIS fault.
He has don’t tons of very popular shit. Most people ignore it. I’m not like a Biden super fan or anything. He’s fine.
Regarding support for Isreal, I agree. it’s a huge trap though. He could get on the tv tomorrow and demand an end to this. Then when Isreal ignores him, he has shown his whole ass to the world. He isn’t in control but there is a persistent impression that he should be. Helluva trap. Both Hamas (proxy for Iran and Russia) and Likud (ultra right wing theocrats), benefit hugely for the awkward spot this war puts left leaning leaders in Europe and the US. They will continue to fight and the losses of innocent civilians will pile up because it serves the belligerents geopolitical goals.
He has don’t tons of very popular shit.
Not really, no. He's bragged about huge leaps but he's barely tiptoed towards what people want and in many cases done the opposite. Like his unconditional fealty to the Israeli government or his claim that the solution to police brutality is throwing more money at cops.
Most people ignore it.
No, that's the Politico propaganda line. The MSM keeps acting like he's this super progressive maverick who doesn't get enough credit for his heroic deeds, but in reality he's almost as conservative and almost as corrupt as his good friend Joe Manchin.

No, then he'll have shown just a minimum of moral fiber and Israel will have shown the world how much they value the "alliance" when they don't get everything they ask for with no strings attached.
I have been in total agreement about the fucked up position that the Palestinian conflict puts Biden in, but cutting funding to UNRWA based on Israel's suspect claims was something that I don't see how I can justify.
There's a more direct trap regarding Israel. In 2016, 71% of Jewish voters voted Democrat. That's a large group that Biden can't risk. Their support for Israel's actions is complicated, but a non-trivial portion would flip red if Biden were to side with the Palestinians.
A whole lot of those Jewish voters are against what Israel is doing in Palestine.
Irrelevant since South Carolina has voted Republican in every general election since 1976.
Why? The party has members there. Why on earth would a national political party only let members in some states choose candidates for national positions.
The SC dem party is predominantly black. Since the civil rights era, black voters have been the heart and soul of this party, I (and the party) want the hear their voices. Don’t you?
He didn't say they shouldn't get to vote. He said the result is irrelevant because these particular voters don't matter to who wins the general election. Not all black people are the same. South Carolina's voters getting to have inordinate influence doesn't mean we're selecting the candidate black voters in general want, and since they're not even close to being competitive the extra focus there is a waste. If we wanted to elevate a diverse state (good idea), either of their neighbors (especially Georgia) would have been a better choice.
If South Carolina Democratic voices were important, they wouldn't have voted Republican in every election for the last 48 years.
It's like saying "Hey, there are Republicans in Massachusetts too! Let's let them pick who the Republican candidate is!"
You want to know what black Democratic voters think about Biden? Ask Chicago, or Detroit, Philadelphia, New York, Oakland.
Nobody gives a shit about South Carolina.
He should really really ask Detroit because he's positioned to lose huge Michigan voting blocs.

4% voting and no challengers isnt a blowout, it's gaslighting
Is this fucking real?
Like are they actually cheer leading this shit?
They did the same thing 4 years ago when the outcome was just as certain.
Oh I remember. But I'm more concerned about how consistent it is with 8years ago.
It's uncanny how determined the Democrats are to just fuck it all up in their own arrogance and self interest.
Damn, nobody ever congratulates me on my blowout.
Hey there! Grats on your most recent blowout!
Your hair looks splendiferous
Joe Biden 96%
Marianne Williamson 2.1%
Dean Phillips 1.7%
Dean Phillips said lack of name recognition hurt him in the race, and that Biden and Williamson had big advantage of having run in 2020. /s
Who are you? Who Who Who Who
Dean Phillips said lack of name recognition hurt him in the race
Who is he blaming that on? Because I bet it's not himself.
How is this an article?
I wouldn't expect anything different after how things were handled when Hillary was the incumbent
