Top left isn't gone.

They surrendered.

There's two confederate flags, then?

oh I thought that was the fr*nch flag

LOL we'd be the CSA now if the confederacy's record was anywhere near as good as the French. I've got a pile of laundry in the basement that's been there longer than the entire duration of the confederacy.

I really have no idea why Americans bash the French so much for this - and I say this as an English man. We don't blame the Jews for the Holocaust, why blame the French for being over run by the Nazis?

ngl this is not some thought out thing I see French surrender meme I play along

"Surrendering in a warfare" is exactly "being beaten". So gone.

The French were not "gone" from France when they surrendered. Beaten β‰  gone

Why do the southern rebels get two flags?

Bottom right and upper left?

Technically speaking, the top left is a more accurate rebel flag than the bottom right.

Yeah, the hilarious part is that the "Stainless Banner" (which incorporated the familiar red background, blue X, white stars), was mostly a white flag. In fact, when the wind didn't blow you couldn't see the part near the flagstaff, so it mostly just looked like a white flag. They realized it looked too much like a flag of truce, and decided to add a red stripe to it... before surrendering less than 3 months later.

I have to say though, purely from an aesthetic point of view, the confederate battle flag is pretty cool looking.

They need a swastika, I mean a good loving neighbor.

Obviously, the apartment with the Confederate flag has a swastika inside.

An Israel flag would fit nicely, too.

Whats the difference?

One of them stands for a country that invaded its neighbors with the goal of starting a genocide.
The other one stands for Israel.

Ah, so you're saying that Israel is worse than Nazi Germany because Israel is actually accomplishing its goal?

The empty window is actually an ancap that sells flags
