Some people will sincerely believe Vance, and then be offended that Democrats think they’re stupid.

Let's assume that she isn't, being generous and disregarding OP's photos for a moment.

If both Trump and Vance are echoing this "pet-eating" stuff that she has said, it doesn't really matter whether she's affiliated or not, does it? The campaign is about putting two people -- Trump and Vance -- in office. Any formal affiliation that Loomer has is only meaningful insofar as it affects what Trump or Vance (or, I guess, the Trump-Vance campaign) is doing. And it really does seem that what she's doing is affecting all three. Or that she's drawing from campaign planners via a backchannel, which is again functionally equivalent to being formally-affiliated with the campaign in terms of what anyone would care about.

Why is it an issue that she is affiliated with Trump?

If anything, this is a great development for Democrats. Loomer is incompetent. So we should hope that Trump is listening to her

“Look, Laura Loomer is not affiliated with the Trump campaign. She said something about curry in the White House that I first read about this morning actually, because I knew that you would ask me about it...” [emphasis my own]

These guys are terrible liars. Between him and Trump, they sound like they have no idea what is going on.

I think it's pretty clear she's never even met the orange bad.

He has the same taste in women as a 13 year old. trashy. and sometimes 13.

JD Vance is not affiliated with any semblance of objective truth and reality. Most of us have Internet access buddy, you can't gaslight this kinda stuff away

This must be one of those stories Vance said he makes up in order to help the American people

And whether you’re eating curry at your dinner table or fried chicken, things have gotten more expensive thanks to her policies.

Oh very interesting choice of contrasting meal. It isn't contrasting Trump, who famously likes his hamberders, so I wonder what it is meant to contrast.

Do you think he might suggest watermelon for dessert when discussing the latter as a meal?

"Loomer is not affiliated with games, playing games and/or wanting to play games. She has never owned a tricycle and she wouldn't even know how to operate one if given the opportunity."

It's way easier to get shit stuck to your shoe than wiping it off.

Your comment implies that it's accidental and undesired, whereas in reality they're deliberately painting it on.

We all knew this was coming. I have never meet her. I don't know her. Who is she again? The old Trump Gas Light.

“If I have to create stories so that the American media actually has to pay attention to the suffering of American people, then that’s what I’m going to do,”

  • Jack Dick Vance, a U.S. Senator representing Ohio.

Look, Kristen, I make a mean chicken curry. I don’t think that it’s insulting for anybody to talk about their dietary preferences

Was it just like locker-room-talk?

This Vance guy was the perfect choice by Trump. Probably the only thing I agree with in his campaign. (S)
And Laura Loomer is right up there competing with him on being the most brilliant. 🤣🤣🤣

Prepping him for the debate seems like it would be an affiliation...

Guys, it's obviously AI generated.

I hate trump as much as the next guy but I have to wonder whether it's appropriate to editorialise posts like this?

Like linking to an article, and then providing a rebuttal in the post body. I mean it's funny as hell in this case, but would it be more appropriate as a comment?

Mad respect to flyingsquid, prolific poster, commenter, and active mod. No rules being broken of course. I'm just concerned it might not be the right practice for a news community.

If it were a conservative perspective with MAGA editorial I sure wouldn't appreciate it.

I don't feel like I was editorializing apart from being sarcastic. I was showing that it was a complete lie. Fact-checking is not editorializing.

"Fact checking" only those articles you disagree with is editorialising.

I'm sorry you don't like it that Laura Loomer is, in fact, part of Trump's campaign, but it's still a fact.

You've misunderstood my concern.

I despise Trump and this vapid weirdo.

I suspect that if a MAGA idiot was posting in this way users would be quick to point out that it's not appropriate for a news community.

That said, I don't want to make a big deal out of it. Do what you like.
