I don't know. As far as I'm concerned, it's "I'm get the fuck out of here!"

Liminal spaces are usually eerie because they're empty, but the word applies to places that are eerie because they're abandoned, too.

I think it's the assumed temporariness for the Big Boys. It's pretty eerie, forlorn and surreal too.

Japan still has Big Boy restaurants. Most of them still have their statue out front in various states of disrepair.

America does too. We used to eat at one in Burbank, CA when we live in Los Angeles all the time.
