A nice charm of Lemmy is that people will post this every couple of months until the site dies.

No shade to OP, it's a nice little consistent thing we'll have.

You think that lemon mascot fucks?

If I came across these, I think I'd have to buy one, in solidarity with my favourite social media platform. The peach one sounds yum!

Taking a moment to thank the creators of Lemmy, who get boatloads of abuse and zero appreciation from the commie/tankie haters. I don't always agree with their politics, I do on enough, but fact is, none of us would be here, without them.

You: Mom can we have Lemmy! Mom: No we have Lemmy at home.

this you this you?

Top one? Yup! :)

pfft, you got me there

Ok.........but whats the rest of the joke???

OOP posts "out shopping, found this" the very next post in OPs feed is "woman out shopping, finds husband" making it seem like OOP and the woman in the second post are the same person and her husband is the lemmy soda(juice?)

I thought this is the lemmy lemonade fan forum. Hell, what is this place?

5$ for less than a half liter. My lord...

4 for $5, so 1,640ml.

I mean, with inflation being what it has been since covid, you can understand why his reaction was disappointment (while still believing it to be true) rather than laughing at the idea of paying $5 for 1 bottle, as I would have done 5 years ago.

"No really, what is it? Like $0.70? A dollar???? Whoooo boy. Pushing it to expensive with that dollar price......FIVE DOLLARS???? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Ok, no, really what is it? Like $0.80?"

And now if that sign says $5 we all just hang our heads in disgrace and accept that THIS is where inflation is right now.

Granted that's NOT what it is, but you'll excuse us for thinking this is where we are now.

I swear I've seen inflation hit processed foods far harder than it has less processed foods. That and the delta between off-brand and name brand has become massive. At least $5 for a large bag of FritoLay chips, but most off brands are still less than $2 for roughly equivalent product

Wait until you find out what happened to egg and milk prices in 2022.

That part was interesting, since I live in a rural area surrounded by farms (primarily feed corn and livestock but across the many family farms around where I live pretty much everything gets farmed), and while I saw egg prices rise, milk prices largely remained the same with just noticable shortages

Implying that the strawberry and peach flavors aren't delicious? 🤔

I wonder if we can work out a brand deal where they change the lemonade to piss(just the label, unless...)
