If you get to this point it’s far too late.

Generally though if you suspect your opponent is going to be using the guillotine, you want to try and either reduce inequality or increase security.

oh he's fine, that's just a coronation.... of sorts.

just tell your opponent "en pessant" and Just casually flip the board upside down.

but do it with dignity.

Convince the opposing pawns to overthrow their own king and recognise that there should be no war but class war.

It appears the pawns already turned, and 2 extra so I'd guess maybe the queen ran off with one of the bishops and became normal pawns for the other side.

Should only be 16 pawns right? 18 I count in the picture

You point to the black king and shout: he is one who has power over you! I'm from another country and only here to visit. And you would trigger an international incident! Do you want (non-civil) war?

As soon as your king gets strapped to the guillotine, you have no more legal moves, and it is a draw by stale mate

What are they chopping off? He's already all crown.

Yell KIDDING. I was just kidding. You didn't really think I was trying to attack you all this time did you? Gah.
