Do you bite your ice cream or use your lips?

What kind of maniac uses their teeth on ice cream?

Gotta chew up the good stuff inside the ice cream sometimes.

The same ones who chew soup.

Not the bits in the soup. The soup.

Chewing prepares your gut for digestion iirc, we didn't evolve to eat blended foods so the gut isn't ready for soup, so chewing is probably beneficial?

I do whatever I need to do.

Yeah! Whatever it takes to get that ice cream in my mouth. Bite, lick, slurp, pick it off my shirt with my fingers, suck the remaining ice cream out of my shirt, whatever I need to do. Mostly bite it though. Little bit at a time.

Proper ice cream is 20 degrees F. It's too cold to just schlorp it off with your lips. If you can, it's melted and you've missed important texture. That's why I eat my ice cream with a knife.

A lick then bite, but I have to be careful since if its on my teeth too long it makes them feel too cold that they kind of hurt.

I bite it with teeth to get a big chunk into my mouth. I do this with hard candy too, I just masticate them.

Oh my god are you me?!

Lol, do your partners\parents\siblings complain that you consume too much if you're sharing something? It's not our fault they consume things so slowly.

This absolutely has happened to me in the past. I ended up just letting them take the first few "bites" and then I would just destroy the rest in a few actual bites. You're right though, it is their fault after all!

I bite it with my lips? Then chew with the back. Front teeth are a bit cold sensitive.

Depends how cold it is, I sometimes have sensitive teeth.

I scrape the ice cream with my top teeth. My bottom teeth are too sensitive to the cold, but my top teeth are fine.

Second ice cream question I've seen today and it's really making me want some.

I generally eat my ice cream out of a bowl where I use a spoon but if I'm in a situation where I'm eating it out of a cone then I use my tongue.
