When you start learning CSS

Man... Screw CSS... I already know how to make everything be how and where I want it with HTML alone and I still just don't want a way to make it simpler or better...

How do you colour and position things accurately using only HTML?

Other commenter was right... I did it with old school js... So damn surprised tho how bad shit still is with CSS even these days tho ... Wife had to get me to click Ctrl minus to size her weird medical stuff viewable earlier because their damn site is so useless... Lol

  • "You see here jimmy, the boss didn't bother to check whether the path was where it was planned to be 2 years ago.

Now, are we going take the initiative and place the flowerbed where it should be rather than where we were told to put it ?"

  • "No we won't Larry... "if we were supposed to take decisions we would be paid accordingly..." as you always say Larry..."

Designer probably got a dimension wrong on the drawing, and the pavers went "Alright, we'll do it exactly as you say. Teach you to proofread next time..."

As a builder, I can't even begin to tell you how often I'll come across something like that and ask the question only to get some ego driven response that you can tell they didn't even review the situation.

'as per the drawings boys' can be a gratifying direction to give when you have the appropriate responses to CYA.

If it were in the center, everyone would need to walk around it. This is more efficient for the foot traffic.

There are people who would just walk through it if it were in the center.

They'll probably still do it even if it's pushed to the side. Jerks gonna jerk.

...wait.

I feel like there may be a reason to this. It looks like the flowers got recently moved. Maybe it was in the way of the main footpath that sees the most traffic? I can see it getting moved if people repeatedly tripped over it at night or when drunk.

I feel that this may be in a snowy region and a snow plow accidentally moved it in the winter.

Gods I hope we're not to the point of coddling people that we're now structuring our architecture to protect the drunks.

If you protect the drunks you also protect the visually impaired, those with lacking motor skills, the chronically absent-minded, and Smombies. I do hope we protect the drunks.

Hmm I don't see anything using the browser's interface. There has been a few posts like this. Something in particular I could be missing?

This looks like a photoshop job.

Looks like, but knowing how the industry works, this is a planners fuck up.
