As per title. None of my IRL friends would have a clue what to do with it, so I want it to go to someone who knows what they're doing.
Not selling or trading so hopefully this is still within the rules. If this gets a lot of responses I'll just choose someone at random.
Edit: this had a lot of responses and is now complete. In the interest of fairness I ran 1-67 (the number of responses) through an online RNG and sorted by new, the result was 18 - congratulations @TopRamenBinLaden

What is a private tracker?
A tracker (a server/website used to track torrents uploaded to it by members; torrent clients require these tracker servers to know how to download the torrent) that is private (not freely accesible to the general public, typically needing a registered account).

How in the world do y’all manage to get into so many? Granted I’ve not put in a ton of effort, but every time I look into getting into a private tracker, all methods seem closed or dead.
I followed /r/opensignups and jumped on a few. I did pay to get into IPT as my first, though. Worth it, imo.
r/opensignups was my favourite sub, checked it daily and signed up for trackers whenever they were open
Interviewed for MAM recently, hoping to get into RED soon

I'm using TL and cannot for the life of me keep a decent ratio. My speeds just cannot compete against seedboxes. Even idling in the IRC waiting for fresh content hasnt helped. YMMV
What I used to do was look for high activity free leech, and then let it seed for a few weeks.
It doesn't have anything to do with speeds mate, it's easy to keep a good ratio on TL by downloading freeleech content and seeding it for 10+ days. It doesn't even have to be content you want. Just keep it seeding and you'll rack up big numbers, which you can then exchange for upload credit.
I’ve had 4 or 5 torrents from TL in transmission (which is on 24/7) for 30+ days now and they haven’t even hit 0.5. All freeleech, all relatively active.
Right, but that's not what I'm saying. It's not about hitting good ratio on individual torrents, because as you've already seen that's actually very hard to do. You will have accrued points on those torrents, which you can then exchange for upload credit. This is probably where most people's ratio comes from on TL. Other sites are different, but TL is very generous in this regard.

Freeleech and permaleech if you dont want to get a seedbox
Get new, freeleech torrents. They don't count against your download, but you still get credit for any upload.
well you can always cheat, just do it on torrents with a lot of activity and make it so that you only get like 1GB per day per torrent, you will never get caught

I seed, I have a 1.5 ratio on IPT and I didn't buy it. I do use the bonus points but I mean, c'mon, the'yre there!
Been looking to get off IPT though because of the owners sketchyness, so I've been recently looking for a new "home."

Well make sure to use unique login info, from what I hear the IPT guy has been known to use people's info to get into other trackers when they had poor enough opsec to use the same pass/email. Iirc there was other stuff too, IPT isn't accepted as proof by most other sites and I'm sure people will chime in here with more sketchy things from the site, but I don't remember. Still I have no other option until the day when I get another option lol.
I was able to use my IPT ratio to get approved for TL. Perhaps it’s because I’ve uploaded multiple TB more than I’ve downloaded, but it was enough to get me approved.

I’m in a position to seed quite well since my connection is uncapped, and I’d be happy to share some rarer finds of mine. Unfortunately the power grid where I live is unstable as shit so might not be the best choice. Up to you I suppose, OP.
I would absolutely be interested in this as well. When What.cd and Empornium shutdown I migrated over to Usenet, but I have really missed the wide availability of torrents since then.
