It's amazing how often the Israeli military does that. They're all just Mavericks. Loose cannons. Not you know in the heroic kind of way where they defy orders to save their comrades or rescue civilians though. In the commit war crimes type of way.

Can you be more specific? What do you mean by It's amazing how often the Israeli military does that? Are there any other recent instances where they tied people on the hoods of vehicles?

The article states they did stuff like this in the second intifada but were banned from doing so by the Israeli Supreme Court. Although there have been "reports" of similar incidents since then.

Based on the rest of the comment, I think they were referring to how often members of the Israeli military defy orders.

That's what I figured but I wanted more info and sources to those claims.

Here an easy resource from a website that usually have receipt: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_war_crimes?wprov=sfti1

Here is some notes to help you with wikipedia.

  • you read the overall sentence. Usually it ends with a source or multiple. Usually news article, research paper, books, blogs and many other form.

  • sometimes you can open the link to it is own specific page which usually have more details.

  • if you are not sure about a specific incident or don’t like the wordings, you can:

  1. select the incident title or information
  2. right mouse click.
  3. choose “Copy” from the menu
  4. open a search engine, it is a website that you can write things into and it will gave you information about you can check put.
  5. put the text you copied into the search bar
  6. click search
  7. you will see a list of information about the incident
  8. read
  9. understand
  • if that doesn’t work you can always ask in a new post about where to find more information about the topic you are interested in.

And now we have so-called "videos" of them doing it. Before you know it, there'll be actual "proof" and stuff.

We have a video of speculation. I understand how that's enough for the dumdums

So what's the required number of videos to convince galactic geniuses such as yourself? 2? 12? Or do we just move the goalposts after every bit of information comes out that doesn't support your opinion? That seems to be how it works, or you just switch to "lalala, I can't hear you"...

Israel will be on the wrong side of history on this, and it won't even take long.

We also have statements from the IDF that this actually happened. It's in the linked article. In the first sentence.

Omg thank you!

"In violation of orders and standard operating procedures,

This claim is miles away from saying they committed a war crime. Thank you so much!

What? That's literally a confirmation‽
You can only do something in violation of orders by actually doing it. Therefore -> "in violation of orders" translates to "they did X in violation of orders"

I'm sorry that the IDF war crimes have been creatively diverse enough that they don't need to do the same exact thing twice for your liking.

They did violate orders. They were ordered to not get caught.

"Please only torture innocent people whom you hate because of the location of their birth outside of the view of cameras."

Let's keep adding more war crimes to the list. Oh and have video proof for the whole world to watch for-EVER.

who the fuck are these psychopaths in the IDF?

What else would you expect when they're brainwashed into thinking their neighbors are animals/barbarians who just want to kill them

You remember when people were confused where ISIS people come from? It is the same for the IDF.

When you tell people they can get citizenship, a home, and some free stuff. People who agree are not normal. People who stay are not normal, and considering morally ethical people would not participate or leave, you end up with immoral, inhumane with latest weapons who are ready to kill their own anytime. These people don’t care because they believe their leaders will protect them and maybe good will reward them.

Now add to that the scum who for 7 or 8 month still giving them the support. I put them in the same level of inhumane, low for of people, losers.

It's that because their orders were "kill them all, take no prisoners"?

Is this "IDF terrorists using Palestinian as human shield" or "IDF rushing wanted man for medical treatment" or both?

A civilian got shot, likely by Israel. They, strapped him to the hood, prevented the Palestinian ambulances from taking him, drove away and then ditched the guy. So just the Human shield part.

The very article that's used states they took him to a hospital and he was a suspected militant.

Now this is Israel's report but you can't just hand wave facts and statements.

"

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said Israeli soldiers initially prevented paramedics from treating the man.

He was eventually transferred to an ambulance and taken to hospital.

"

The jeep did not take him to a hospital. I recommend watching the video in the article too. Makes the situation very clear.

Why would not give a suspected militant to the Red crescent?...

Edit to add links that prove you wrong:

"However, he was later handed over to the Red Crescent."

"He was eventually transferred to the Red Crescent for treatment."

https://www.cnn.com/2024/06/23/middleeast/west-bank-jenin-israeli-military-palestinian-man-jeep-intl-hnk/index.html

"He was transferred to the Red Crescent to receive medical treatment, the Israeli military added."

Indeed eventually. After they initially prevented the Red Crescent from helping the man.

Did you watch the video in the article? The footage makes it very clear the soldiers are not helping the man into an ambulance.

I was obliterating your failed attempt to make it seem like IDF didn't give this man to the Red Crescent. You lied.

But my point is you wouldn't give a suspected militant back to the organization. That is a stupid thing to do. My opinion is that they took him to IDF medical treatment, cleared this man of any militant ties and transferred him to the RC after they knew he wasn't a threat. Is that how you treat a human shield?

You can see the IDF weaving past the ambulance not handing him over in the video.

Yes. Are you familiar with the concept of time?

It must work different in Israel.

Not really. I claimed the IDF didn't give the suspect over for reasons and when their suspicions were wrong, they gave him back. And each moment the earth moves, time passes.

You keep getting stuck in a time loop by repeating the same thing. It's like you're dumb af or something.

Utterly disgusting, reprehensible, unforgivable

I wonder if the actual order is "don't bring in wounded Palestinians, just shoot them and drop them by the wayside".

Guys guys guys calm down, they were just driving him to the hospital and they had no room left in the car for him to lay down.

/s

Ok. Lesson learned. When someone tries to kill me, if they lose the fight and need medical attention, I'll leave them on the street.

At least then I won't be viewed as inhumane.

Have you seen the video?

They put the person in front of the car.

You don't strap a person you intend to help with ropes to the outside of the car

So, which order did they violate, according to the Israeli leadership? Trying to give the guy medical attention?

I especially liked your comment further down, though, about how you immediately characterize the guy, in civilian, strapped to the hood of a jeep like a fucking trophy deer, as "a murderer." You've got shit-all knowledge about this person; they could have been a journalist, a medic, but since it's Israeli soldiers driving the jeep, he's immediately a "murderer."

Your biggotry is showing, there, Rambo.

The IDF was preventing the ambulances from taking the guy. A video of the event exists.
