“It’s only illegal if you get caught” has been the unofficial motto of governments since forever, so it’s only fair for citizens to think that way too, right?

Do not call up your local Pizza Hut and social engineer a means to get the manager's name. For example, don't say "Hey I have some questions for the hiring manager, are they in? I don't mean to be awkward, but what should I call you so I'm not saying manager for this whole conversation."

Don't order the curse of flames pizza from the local Domino's to the Local Pizza Hut under the Pizza Hut manager's name. The curse of flames pizza is a large well-done thin pizza with no sauce or cheese, only spinach.

Again, don't do any of this. If the Domino's doesn't instantly refund your hypothetical order to the manager of the Pizza hut, an underpaid worker will scoop the embers of the curse of flames pizza out of the oven and put it on a stack of pizza boxes where the embers will catch fire.

Then the Domino's manager will have to use the fire extinguisher and they'll mistakenly sue the manager of the Pizza Hut for property damage.

Again don't do it because once they figure out it was you and not their competitor, they'll come after you for property damage instead. The legal fees on both sides might put the struggling franchise owners at a loss for a bit, and shut down either restaurant for everyone else.

That's why you don't order the Curse of Flames Pizza from Dominos to the manager of the Pizza Hut.

Let’s burn down McDonalds, we’ll go whole hog!

Tomorrow is Sunday, there gonna be some parades. Back at my house, i got some grenades!

I got the black belt, you got the gun! Team up tonight, have some fun!

What I want to know is it illegal if you travel to another country and break a law that would be illegal in your country but isn't a law where you're traveling.

In Canada legal drinking age is 19 in the states its 21. So is it illegal if a 19 year old american is drinking in Canada.

No, you only need to abide by the laws of your locality. Just like within your own country in different states or counties. I can't buy alcohol on Sunday morning in my town, but I can if I drive to the next town over.

OK but let's say its a horrible crime like murder. Let's say elon musk creates a dumb fucking nation in the middle of the sea. Imagine he builds a floating poonton with a flag and a dell computer in the corner dangerously close to the edge and declares murder is legal. So some guy drives their tesla out there, murders a bunch of other idiots and drives back. Is the country just letting them back in?

Though especially in states with abortion bans, people are working to challenge this.

I saw warnings in Singapore that it was illegal for their citizens to do drugs, even when in a foreign country. I'm not sure if/how they actually enforce that though

Failing a drug test gets you prison time and they randomly drug test people in airports.

Many years ago, I seem to remember that failing a drug test in South Dakota could get you 180 days in prison but that no longer seems to be the case and I can't find a source saying if that really was on the books or not. Some states still do criminalize cheating on drug tests though.

That’s not how legality works.

That's what they want you to think

Yes it does Ronald said it

Well how can you get charged for a crime if your never identified?

*you're

Your ability to escape consequences doesn’t change the fact that there is a law against it.

Great, advocating for domestic terrorism

Laws are threats made by the dominant socio-economic group. It's just a promise of violence thats enacted and police are basically an occupying army to keep you in line. - Mr Cubby the MailMan

There is a secret ring of Hamas under the Pizza hut right next to the pedophiles and her emails.

There you go now it's self defense.

Just a casual call to violence. But it's a socialist/anarchist meme so NBD. Nice.

Politics is all about the distribution of the legitimate use of violence. It's where governments get their authority from, it's a part of every political ideology. The real question is what is the violence for, where is it directed, and who's doing it? The status quo under neoliberalism is incredibly violent but that doesn't seem to bother you. What's up with that?

It's because under the neo liberal the violence is very often indirect which is part of the design. Like there's not official policy dictating the homelessness people be killed they just die on the streets and the typical neo lib won't give a shit. They just believe that state violence against those in poverty is the natural order and they can just wash their hands of it.

This is some freeman of the land or whatever shit lmao

How?

Because it sounds similar to what they say

I mean it's a pretty standard and very brief summary of political power dynamics so I guess someone somewhere in the sov cit movement has probably said something like that at some point. Fascists, liberals, communists, anarchists, and whatever other politocal ideology you can think of has stated this in some fashion. It's extremely basic political theory

Yeah I saw a video where someone tried that in court lol

Theory isn't going to get you out of your DUI. It's a framework for building and applying ideologies. Spend 5 minutes in a pol sci 101 class and you'll probably hear it there too. Sov cits are wack as shit and have more in common with classic liberalism, mercantilism and methamphetamine induced psychosis than they do any serious political framework. Their entire argument is based on British common law and archaic maritime laws lol

Well no shit it isn't going to get you out of anything lol

What's your point?

I was agreeing with you that it's not going to get you out of DUI, which I thought was a foregone conclusion

Yes. Killing innocent individuals eating a fast meal is totally 100% legitimate.

Sure, if that's how you want to engage with a legitimate attempt to discuss revolutionary politics with you, go ahead. God forbid people try to have a good faith conversation about divisive topic on the internet, silly me for giving you the benefit of the doubt. Get fucked, lib. Is that what you wanted me to say?

Bro there's a thing called opening hours

Unless you live in a place with 24/7 Mecces. Then just call a bomb threat or have someone pull the fire alarm. In Minecraft, of course.
