It's raining men and let the bodies hit the floor could be about the same event from radically different points of view

While 'It's Raining Men' was released in the autumn of 1982 by the American music duo The Weather Girls as the lead single for their third studio album, the lyrics describe excitement and enjoyment of many types of men; In contrast, "Bodies" released in 2001 by American rock band Drowning Pool, an ode to the intensity of mosh pits, also enjoyed a good amount of commercial success. Somehow, both songs seem to commemorate the iconic moment in 1998, when The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer's table.

You get my ass every time. Although this one was even more unexpected. Glad to see you here.

Honestly, I dislike both songs. However watching Hell In A Cell on tv with my boys is a memory I will cherish.

Real Shittymorph or not, the very fact that someone is trying makes me believe that everything will be okay.

And another one gone, and another one gone, and another one bites the dust

Cause I'm freeeeeee

Free falling....

I... I feel so alive
For the very first time
And I think I can fly

I'm back at my cliff, still throwing things off I listen to the sounds they make on their way down I follow with my eyes 'til they crash

Into me, baby

And I come into you

In a boys dream

In a boys dream

God, I love song mashups. It's sometimes shocking how much they slap. My favorite will always be Eye of the Tiger x Fireflies.

Respectfully, that's a good one but I'm yet to hear one that will top Jay Z vs Bach.

I'll see your Jay-Z vs Bach and raise you my Hanz Zimmer vs LMFAO.

Am I crazy or is this kinda good?

My wife described it as having the vibes of quiet morning hangover sadness after a wild night of partying. I just picture a really sad hungover guy looking out a window at a rainy landscape and thinking to himself I was once a party rocker in the house tonight, but what am I now?

I actually love both songs, and this is the masterpiece I didn't know I needed in my life.

JFC this is pure entertainment start to finish. Anytime somebody says 'fair use is BS' they'll get this sent to them.

Amazing. Ahh, that stupid bleached spiked hairstyle from the late nineties / early aughts. My shame has found me.

Last time I heard Bodies I was in a CVS parking lot and a pickup truck pulled in blaring it. I nearly lost it when I saw a 40 something dad wearing khakis get out of the truck. Then I realized I was a 40 something dad wearing cargo pants and quietly went back to my car to have a midlife crisis.

Bodies hitting the floor could be from any height. Raining implies a great height.

You know you found the right online community when you encounter shittymorph. I sure hope it’s the same person.

Even if it isn't as long as we're just doing reincarnations we're cool. Like the avatar.

one side of a storm is a rainbow; the other is dark mettle

I certainly wouldn't be saying, "hallelujah," if it were raining men. And cleaning up the aftermath would just be horrible. So many corpses...

Imagine if the songs The KKK Took My Baby Away and Fire of Unknown Origin (took my baby away) are talking about one really unfortunate baby that keeps on being taken away by random stuff.

I suppose Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, and Free Falling could fit in too.
