Jenga, when the sales fell.

Timber, his arms open.

Janeway, her coffee empty

Star Trek?

All of those are in the format of how the Tamarians in Star Trek speak. They speak in metaphor, which completely fucks with the universal translator (since it's translating what they're saying rather than what they mean).

Just in case you were looking for context. Also know as, my little morning info dump.

They started making wooden airplanes

Holy cow, probably real happy it got released later. Though honestly it's funnier that ice cream guy went deep into the mountains to finally enjoy his cone in peace and still got robbed.

Idk why but twin tower jokes will never not be funny

You know. I got a massive amount of memes stored about that subject. I can't remember the exact number but it's between 1000 and 900.

I can't remember the exact number but it's between 1000 and 900.

Is it 911?

Are you a twelve year old? You clearly weren't alive when it happened.

I was alive when Allende was overthrown by Pinochet in Chile in 9/11 coup! Wait, we are talking about the US 9/11?

I was alive when it happened. The only thing that healed my trauma was the memes

9/11 Never Forget. They didn't specify HOW we should remember. Trauma and memes go together like jet fuel and the inability to melt steel beams

Well, were you alive when the US retaliated by killing 100 times as many innocent civilians over the actions of a few?

3000 lives is nothing compared to 300 000, even if they are American.

So how about you let us make our god damn memes?

How about when the number of US soldiers lost eclipsed the 9/11 deaths.

Oh noes some people died! Way more people have died through covid, the ukraine&russia war, the new gaza massacre, of hunger on africa every year... It might have affected you because it happened nearby, but you are not special for having things like that happen to you.

Ah, Americans, can joke about literally anything else except MURICA.

I wonder if this is actually real. I could see it.

The steep drop between 2000 and 2001 makes me wonder. The attack was nearer to the end of 2001.

I think that is because many people buy Jenga as a christmas present, which are usually bought after september.

The sales dip is also less than 25 percent. If you assume constant sales through the year, the timing is also reasonable.

I think you have your dates mixed up. These are sales from that calendar year. 2001 sales were down a good bit, so after the attack. 2002 sales was the big dip.

I think this has more to do with the dot-com bust then 9/11.

Should've started selling commemorative Jenga 2-Packs.

Like how Beany Baby did a Princess Diana bear
