How can you tell how big they are? Did you look at every one?

It started as one easy to read bean can and I extended the transcription with every update.

Also I'm magic.

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you lima bean? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Beans, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Adzuki, and I have over 300 confirmed bowls cooked. I am trained in garbanzo warfare and I'm the top cook in the entire US bean forces. You are nothing to me but just another customer. I will feed you beans with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fava. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of bean providers across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, marrowfat. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your lentils. You're fucking cooked, kidney bean. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can feed you over seven hundred different recipes, and that's just with my black beans. Not only am I extensively trained in pinto combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the Great Northern Bean Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little split pea. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have prepared your fucking mouth. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn soybean. I will shit beans all over you and you will drown in them. You're gonna be fucking full, baked bean.

Please don't do this. Let it die with Reddit.

Anarchy chess keeps leaking. Anybody here a plumber?

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one getting anarchy chess vibes

Thats enough beans to get to the moon.

bean watching this mouth watering display of culinary delight for some time now patiently waiting for the next truck load of beans

Double it and give it to the next person!

Cool meme but you better put more effort when making 2048 beans 2: 4096 electric boogaloos. We are a quality pooppost community after all, not like the general quality of Reddit.

Dude your milking these 🫘

Actually, they're posting in direct response to the upvote count, following up on the promise. We're the ones milking it.

Just think how much online shopping we're going to be able to do with all these Beenz floating around Lemmy for free.

BEANS BEANS BEANS BEANS BEANS BEANS

This the shit I like to see.

Someone please explain what is going on with lemmy and beans

So there's people on Lemmy. People are fucking stupid. Someone posted beans. The random, unexpected nature was comical. The amusement caused upvotes, increasing popularity, which led to a bandwagon. This bandwagon then became itself popular, creating a meta-commentary on Lemmy's obsession with beans. This unintentionally drives new interest in a sociogenic positive feedback loop driven by a conscious or subconscious desire to feel included in the growing social trend. This will continue until the majority of people lose interest and both the meme and it's meta-commentary (arguably a more important driving factor in the continuous popularity than the actual content) and begin to shift their focus elsewhere, or express negative responses that capture the popular opinion. This breaks the cycle, and drastically drops off the interest in the trend as stragglers are penalized for the "posting old memes". It then dies off save for a small portion of the community who continues a vested but dwindling interest who will section the content off to a new, smaller community, which will then be known solely for that trend. Then a new trend emerges and follows the same pseudo-popular feedback trend.

That help?
