My two year old son is just learning a few words right now. I’m looking forward to the day I can have an honest conversation with him, explain things using words, and get to know what’s going on in his tiny little adorable head.

Moving out of Texas. Waiting for the school year to end, and we are getting out of this backwards state.

Best decision I ever made. I knew I wanted to live away from DFW, but fam..... finally too many good job opportunities for us both were just not available in the south so we made it happen. Cost of living is higher but QOL is much better. Good luck!

I think I’m the only person in the universe who is actually looking forward to the PlayStation Portal handheld being released in a couple of weeks. I loved the Backbone One but it was annoying having to take the case off every time I wanted to play on my phone. The PlayStation Portal will fit my use case very well.

I'm excited but I'm waiting for reviews first. I have a steam deck so I'm really just looking for some screen comparisons. I miss the haptics when remote playing the PS5 on the deck

Having a secure and comfortable, well-paying job with health benefits before I die.

Sigh…

Ain't gunna happen. No job is safe. Been laid off 5 or 6 times in my career with "safe" jobs

Getting this covid shot over with. Currently in the waiting room and I HATE needles.

I've been feeling a bit down lately but I'll be buying a new car soon so that's cheering me up a bit.

The end of all the Halloween stuff.

like the season, or for people to stop caring about it ever?

There's no halloween in my country so I don't know how the experience is. Some folks tried to make it a thing here recently but then they had a bunch of kids going door-to-door and not getting anything from most of them and also some folks who prepared for it and never had anyone knock on their doors. Everybody ended up disappointed.

The season.

It never really caught up here, but marketing people are still trying to shove it down our throats. And the US people inundate the online spaces with it for a whole month.

Although it wouldn't make any difference to me if it vanished altogether.

Retirement. Hopefully 2-5 years

I've got about 50 books "saved for later" on amazon. I expect to have the spare cash to buy them all sometime soon.

Hey, that's great! I hope you can have a nice cozy winter and read through a few of them.

Looking forward to this weekend when I'm finished giving the best man speech at my friend's wedding. I'm sure it will be fine but the knowledge it is coming up has been intruding on my relaxation time this week.

The next episodes and chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen. I love this manga and anime so much that I look forward to reading a new chapter and watching a new episode every week. I legitimately read the manga 3 times, and watched every fight so far in the anime at least twice.

I know it sounds lame when other people talk about more important things, but I have so much stress in my life and entertainment helps me a lot.

Also I am hyped for the Mahoyo movie, though I doubt it will be released this year as was originally planned.

Season 2 is really picking up for me. Although admittedly I was hooked from the first episode of season one.

Have been trying to get through One Piece at the same time which seems to have an endless amount of episodes. Definitely keeping me busy while I wait for new JJK.

Agreed, even from early season 1 I liked it, but the more the story progressed, the more I got into it.

Too bad MAPPA is abusing its animators horribly to make these faster. I would have preferred to wait more so animators could be treated humanely, but I guess when we have sociopaths at the top, nothing good comes out of it.

Exam paper checking so I can take a photo of the inkling I drew on the paper

Tf2 megascatterbomb bots fucking off. I just want to play games of tf2 but these bots infect every lobby.

Going to see Godzilla Minus One at the end of the month. That's pretty much the only thing I've been excited about in the last year or so.
