Apparently the person who did that drawing couldn't be assed to look up reptile anatomy; if they had they woulda discovered that reptiles have internal testes, and if they possess a penis, they usually possess two, not one.

I assume they meant "in the cards" as in: something that will be happening in the future.
"on" predates "in" (1590s vs 1730s) and is more widely used, by a large margin until 1950, and then by a narrow margin since.
