I ordered a BLT with onion

I took the onion off and made some garlic bread with the loaf so things turned out okay.

I was looking forward to the BLT though.

Edit: I ordered delivery through GrubHub, so I couldn't see them making the sandwich. I thought it seemed a little light when I took it out of the bag, but the BLTs I've gotten before have always felt light, so I didn't realize.

Also this is c/mildlyinfuriating. It wasn't a huge deal, and GrubHub refunded me for the item, but it was mildly infuriating since I wanted a BLT and someone misunderstood my order.

since I wanted a BLT and someone misunderstood my order.

Ah I see you ordered the famous Bacon-Less Toast

This is the none pizza left beef of sandwiches

Except that customer explicitly ordered "none pizza with left beef", and was presumably delighted that their instructions were followed so exactly.

This is what you get when fuck with the pure equation.

Onions are an incredible addition to BLTs and I won't be convinced otherwise

mildly infuriating? That's incredibly infuriating

They have reached enlightenment, nothing bothers them

I feel like this is on brand for Jersey Mike's, though. I'm pretty sure the only way to get fired from Jersey Mike's to show up sober for your shift.

Weird, the Jersey Mikes around my neck of the woods are hardcore. They have a Firehouse and a Subway across the street from them, so they're always hustling lol

Don't get me wrong: I'm not saying it's bad or that it's worse than the competitors.

But, it's one of the chains where I've experienced employees that very clearly smelled strongly of weed (like they have just freshly smoked up or had some in their pocket) while making my food or serving it to me. At least in my region where weed isn't legalized, it kind of has a reputation of being one of the cooler "stoner friendly" chain restaurants in terms of employment opportunities and the few people I've known who worked there at some point are or were heavy, frequent users.

I'm not hating on people who use drugs, but I don't think it's all that far fetched to believe that working under the influence is going to increase the odds/frequency of silly screw ups similar to the BLT-less BOLT in the photo and given the reputation of that company (in my circle, region, etc), it doesn't seem at all like a weird joke to make. Really, it applies to a lot of restaurants in general.

I've ordered from them a few times and this is the first I've had any issues. The place here (usually) makes good subs, and the other ones in the order were fine.

BLT is also an abbreviation for a Russian swear word "blyat" which is the appropriate thing to say upon receiving this sandwich.

So that bread and onions in the picture, are you telling me that's what Jersey Mike's gave you instead, after you asked for a BLT?

or are you saying that when you got home you took the onions off your Jersey Mike's sandwich and put it onto some garlic bread?

It's Jersey Mikes, but aint no way they sent a sandwich out like this. They're whole thing is slicing the meat up for your to order. This reeks of bs.

I ordered delivery. It'd be kind of difficult for them to make the sandwich in front of me at home.

Here's the refunded order item.

Wait. It was $22 for a sandwich??

Edit: is this USD?

USD. It's probably a GrubHub Tax™, although each full sub is usually good for two meals for me.

Yeah that’s pretty normal.

It’s like a 15 inch long sub that’s normally close to 1500 calories for the BLT.

Someone was overwhelmed filling orders. A BLT does sound good though. Now I know what I'm doing for lunch tomorrow.

Had a similar experience with a sub from Dominos in Rotterdam. A full chicken teryaki sub had two little chunks of chicken and a small handful of green stuff.

Damn did you order this after a no call no show? They even gave you the green papery ring.
