If it's hard to see, that's rice, "cooked" in a soda plastic bottle, on a bbq grill.
Ugh. Please don't show that to me ever again. Thanks.
What a great life hack!
I've been worried about my forever chemical intake, but choking down a shot of PFAS every morning is pretty unpleasant. Infusing it into rice seems so obvious now!
Don't breath this!
Will it blend microwave
I wanna see the one where they microwave a smaller microwave
*breathe
Also inadvisable
"The masks! They do nothing!"
This is least 2 cancer's
Let them fight.
I dunno it seemed to have evaporated like water so it's probably safe.
Already full of micro plastics, might as well start adding macro plastics. 🤷🏻♂️
Cutting out the middleman 😎
W-where is the bowl?
i might detect a hint of melted styrofoam towards the right of the bean puddle.
It's made from the same stuff as Wonder Woman's jet.
damnit
you spilled the beans
What bowl?
beans a la polymère
Fyi, there's no such thing as a microwave-safe plastic bowl. "Microwave safe" just means it won't melt in the microwave. It'll still fill your food with microplastics and other chemicals though.
Good point... I should just eat the plastic container on it's own next time 🤣
As is the way of Lemmy, all things revert back to beans.
This guys eatin' BEANS
your microwave is so clean! Very nice!
My microwave has the same design, but with it being about 25 years old I got a bit of a shock seeing OPs clean innocent virgin oven.
Oh no, are we beanposting again???
Beans & Jeans
Make it happen..
You asked, AI answers!
New lemmy logo just dropped 😄
Ok but why is this actually cute tho
Yeah, they could probably sell these as a novelty item.
Yay, happy day! 👍
Oh yeah we are
Yep, that’s a cancer.
LPT: Don't microwave plastic, even if it claims to be microwave safe.
Recipes that have you microwave plastic wrap creep me the fuck out
Yeah good tip, that's why I only ever microwave my stainless steel containers. No risk of cancer there!
But I can still boil plastic, right?
That's another, goes well with those beans.

Our house cleaner does an amazing job!
So it is now?
It's more of a saucer than a bowl.
Ah, beans
Don't eat that.
Pyrex doesn't melt like that.
It needs a much hotter oven...

This guy figured it out with a normal microwave.

Damn, impressive!
Did it melt or break? Where is the bowl?
Melted. Where the thicker area is is what's left of the base of the bowl.
yeah but those are pretty nice looking beans

On the bright side, you are now the proud owner of a hip designer bean plate.
Well fuq.
