There is a cerebral palsy anime?

Fun fact: I tried looking up things about cerebral palsy and got warned about illegal activity. Was confused for a while.

Elder Scrolls Online's xp levels after reaching level 50 are called Champion Points, frequently shortened in and out of game to CP...

"Bro I got almost 2000CP I'm doing way better than you"

In Geometry dash, creator points are abbreviated to CP, so Geometry Dash level creators sometimes brag about "having lots of CP"

FBI watchlist speedrun any%

OP, with that title, is definitely on the list. Along with all of us.

That's why I'm not posting in this thread.

Oh fuck.

You post in every thread

Cool, that's just a lie, but ok.

Do you have an example of a post you haven’t posted in?

oh don't worry about it, I've been on an FBI watchlist for a long time 😇

anyways I've heard good things about Cyberpunk, maybe I should start watching it too 🤔

The animation is flashy but the plot and storytelling can't even compare to the game.

I thought the plot and storytelling was heart-wrenching. It's only like ten episodes where the game is like 60-80 hours of content, and it only follows one specific plot thread, not the dozens in the game. So I feel like it's unfair to try and draw a one-to-one comparison between the two.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners (the Netflix anime) is pretty damn great and well worth the watch.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a pretty decent game too. Not a masterpiece it was originally hyped up to be, and a lot of things in the game just painfully remind me of things that other games do better, but it's still a pretty damn gripping game with pretty incredible atmosphere and style. Probably pretty high in my best games of the decade list.

My company was developing a product they branded with a "CP" abbreviation. I told then to, you know, not do that, but our marketing said they already internally committed and I was making a deal over nothing.

Fortunately the product concept was also dumb and failed miserably before anyone in the industry could point it out.

I also am amazed that IBM branded a whole product line as "SurePOS".

PoS is a really common abbreviation for Point of Sale hardware and software.

This is partly because there is no such thing as a non-POS point of sale system.

The people who picked Point Of Sale as the term for these systems knew exactly what was going to happen. I cannot be convinced otherwise.

Back in my day we called it a cash register, so I can't disagree.

There's a local group that works with kids that goes by CP Theater. It's short for Christian Performance Theater. I think they're just starting to catch on that they need to change their acronym to something else.

Now look, I like chicken parmesan, but I also know better than to abbreviate it. Not everything needs to be given shorthand. But if you're going to acronymize something, for gawdsake look it up first.

Gonna check out this Civil Protection anime i didn't know exists, sounds cool.

Even if you like the anime, I wouldn't bother with the real thing. Candlestick Park hasn't been the same since the Giants stopped playing there.

I had an urge to make a baseball-related joke about that throwback, but I feel like pro sports are a net drain on society, so I'm just gonna make this dumb meta comment about it. Good one, though.

Don't feel bad. I actually had to look up who played baseball in Candlestick Park. I just knew the name. I don't know much about sports.

Man, I could really go for some CP right now, it gets me hot like nothing else! What, you never had Chili Peppers?

Only the Red Hot kind and I'm not that big of a fan.

Damn, I didn't know the competitive tf2 scene, usually run using the gamemode "control points", had an anime...

If you want to try cp2077 please just pirate it, don't give them any money.

…why?

A video from three years ago about a game that had an extremely rough, bug-ridden, underwhelming launch.

I haven’t played it, but I understand that it has improved dramatically since then.

At launch I wouldn’t have told anyone to buy No Man Sky, but that game has ALSO gotten significantly better since launch and now I would recommend people buy it.

CD Projekt should have earned enough goodwill from the community at large for us to be willing to forgive their mistakes when they fix them.

They worked their asses off and only recently called the game "finished".

It's testament to how every developer should be. Full-time, aggressive, and reactive development for 3.5 years after the launch date on a singleplayer game. Obviously, it's actually quite the masterpiece now and very positively reviewed. Definitely recommend it.

Mate, if you can only answer with a 41 minutes video, you shouldn't throw such allegations on a text forum. Write at least one paragraph with key points, for Christ's sake!

But if the game is good enough for 25+ hours of your life, you can't justify pirating it.

Cd projeckt .. particularly GOG has done some absolutely amazing things for pc gamers as a whole. Please don't pirate cyberpunk.
