J.D. Vance delivered a rally speech Tuesday in Pennsylvania with a backdrop that made it appear he was campaigning for his arch nemesis, Kamala Harris. 

The unfortunate signage appeared to stem from the event’s advance team not accounting for its crowd blocking half of a gigantic poster that sat directly behind Vance, which appeared to read in full, “KAMALA CHAOS.”

For those watching on Fox News and other broadcasts, however, the only words clearly visible—in white text on a blue background, in all caps—was simply “Kamala.” 

The apparent gaffe quickly went viral on X, where many joked that Harris’ VP choice in Tim Walz, which was announced just prior to Vance’s rally speech, had convinced Trump’s running mate to switch teams.

"KAMALA CHAOS" is actually pretty cool sounding. She should steal that and find a fun positive spin for it.

It's such a weak attempt at an attack, rubbing it in their faces that they have nothing real they can use against her seems smart.

Sounds like a dope thing to shout before unleashing your anime attack on someone.

Should be her version of trump derangement syndrome. For all the crazy critiques leveled at her - they're just exhibiting symptoms of kamala chaos

TDS was always projection from the right. They claimed their opposition was deranged for paying attention while the actual deranged people were frothily defending him against every applicable accusation.

Not as weak as when Trump called her "Lyin' Kamala" and felt obliged to spell out "Lyin'" (including the apostrophe) so that his kultists would get it. I guess he was worried they'd think he was saying "Lion Kamala".

Imagine an animated campaign commercial with a bunch of panicking ragdoll caricatures of Republican ghouls descending into hellfire as a gigantic Kamala Harris rises up in the background taking over the White House, and the words "KAMALA CHAOS" appears on the screen in exactly the same typeface as what's behind J.D. Vance.

The VP debate is gonna be great fun - that is, if Vance can manage to pull himself away from his couch.

But it's on target based on the severe chaos of the Biden/Harris administration compared to the smooth, quiet efficiency of the Trump/Pence administration. (Do I need a /s?)

How many cabinet members did Trump churn through?

My favorite was him appointed Wilbur Ross to secretary of commerce. The same Wilbur Ross that bailed out Dementia Don when he famously bankrupted a casino DURING THE CASINO BOOM. If you didn't know, Wilbur is a coal baron.

I get great entertainment from reading/trolling right wing conspiracy boards. I would point out frequently that Wilbur Ross worked for the Rothschilds, their one world government enemies for years, the ones responsible for 9-11, the ultimate Illuminati Powers That Be, according to Alex Jones and his ilk. By their own rationale, Trump must be a Rothschild pawn.

They are fine with that now, I guess.

I've concluded that they can't be free thinkers. They just do what their told by fox "news". When you show them facts that contradict what they want to hear, they shut down and start talking about some dudes laptop or someones emails. It's sad and silly.

I love how conservatives go out of their way to play identity politics by ensuring there's a token representation of their opponents in the background of every picture. Like, "look one of you is supporting us! So should you!"

I could see why they'd call her chaos. She definitely created chaos for their campaign.

I don't think I'd be campaigning for Trump with the word "Chaos"...that is really something that calls back to Trump tweeting nuclear threats against North Korea, hiring Mike Pompeo and firing Rex Tillerson in one tweet publicly before informing them, the Covid mishandling ("re-open by Easter 2020")...on policy folks might just disagree but it's standard politics. The Chaos of the Trump presidency was uniquely of his own making.

Yeah but they cannot write the word they and their voters want to use so it is hard to come up with alternatives.

I want to call this accidental subversion, but I feel like that's still ascribing far too much credit to Vance. There was never an ounce of thought about it, it was probably a phrase he saw on twitter a few days before and ordered it for the press conference without even the notion of a thought to how it would appear on tv. Subversion, even accidental, requires some kind of consideration. There was none. If the amount of thought he put into this were an ecosystem, it would be a barren wasteland.

"Kamala Chaos" was what they were calling it when the Stock Market shit the bed, but had to walk back when the market took back most of the loss the next day (as the market tends to do)

Legit… the idea that he’d ever be caught on camera standing in front of a sign that had anyone else’s name besides his own or his running mate’s is just brain dead branding.

They are sending their best. And it's a sad time. The sadliest.

Pretty sure JD isn't a fan of Plan B. He wavers, at best:
